Custom Budget Report Development - SSRS - AMT CMMS

Leading Australian contractor required the development of a custom report for their AMT CMMS to enable budget and forecast reporting directly from AMT for their contract equipment hire. The client provided their desired outputs and areas where they required improved AMT reporting.

A custom database SQL query was developed to enable the report to be created in Microsoft SSRS Report services.

All required outputs and expectations from the client were met and in most cases exceeded.

The custom report provided the client the following improvements.

• Significantly reduced the time and resources required to produce monthly and yearly forecasts, one report was required to obtain all information.
• Reporting accuracy improved and was less prone to error.
• Increased accuracy of forecasts.
• Greater visibility of the cost detail enabling interrogation of outputs.
• Improved decision making capability.
